Jefferson Fest planned in July

OAK RIDGE — The Township of Jefferson and the Jefferson Arts Committee are happy to announce Jefferson Fest (formerly Jefferson Day) will take place on Saturday July 8, 2017, at the Jefferson Township High School Fields located at 1010 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge, NJ 07438.
There is free parking and free admission.
The events will start at 1 p.m. with a Youth Fishing Derby at the Weldon Road Fishing Education Pond and go to 3 p.m. for children up to 15 years old.
Starting at 3 p.m., we will be bringing back The Irish Road Bowling Tournament at Wiegand Farms on Catholic Charities Way; pre-registration required (form available at www.jeffersonarts.org).
DJ Earl from Sound Solutions will entertain with music and kid’s activities — from 5-7 p.m. on the JTHS Field.
A climbing tower will be set up on the JTHS Field to go from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
There will be Fabulous Food Trucks at the JTHS fields from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. They are Cheezen, Surf & Turf, Empanada Guys, Jersey Johnny’s, the French Quarter, Oink and Moo, Dino’s Ice Cream and Maddalena’s Cheesecake.
Our Concert will start at 7:15 p.m. on the Main Stage — JTHS fields — featuring “The British Invasion Years”
There will be a 50/50 Raffle Drawing on the Main Stage — JTHS fields — at 9:20 PM
And finally, the Fantastic Aerial Fireworks Show put on by Interstate Fireworks — JTHS Fields — will start at 9:30 p.m.
