Pizazz students succeed at competitions

Back-to-back competitions bring recognition and regioanl champion awards to Pizazz Dance Academy.
The Pizazz Elite team competed at Sussex Technical School in Sparta at Dance Xplosion on April 22-23 and Nexstar on April 29-30.
Isabella Ferrerri won Xtreme Gold and was first in her category and first overall at Dance Xplosion.
Amanda Mudrick won Xtreme Gold at Dance Xplosion, where she was first in her category and won the Judge's Award for "So Much Passion, Emotion and Beautiful Storytelling. She won high gold and finished first in category at Nexstar.
Katie Molini won Platinum and first in category and fourth overall and she was Platinum at Nexstar and first overall.
Open Soloist Devan Meggiolaro won Xtreme Gold at Dance Xplosion, first in category, and fifth overall. She won high gold at Nexstar, first in category and fifth overall.
In Jazz duet, Grace Lamattina and Haydee Orr won xtreme Gold at Dance Xplosion , first in category and fifth overall. At Nexstar, she was high gold, first in category, and first overall.
The Jazz Group dancers won Xtreme Gold and fifth overall at DanceXplosion, while they won high gold and 1st in category.
The Lyrical group won Xtreme Gold and first in category and sixth overall, At Nextar, they went Platinum, first in category, first overall, regional champions and golden ticket to the world Dance Championship. Lauren Mudrick won the Choreography Award.
World Dance Championship is by invitation only and is held in Secaucus, N.J. at the Meadowlands Expo Center in August. Regional Champions will be recognized in Nexstar 2018 National Talent Competition Programs.
