Marie Virginia Lebron, 88 years old, died after a long illness at Regency Gardens in Wayne, N.J., on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Born to John and Maria Zich in St. Louis, Mo., she lived in Hamburg, N.J., from 1964 till she moved to Wayne, N.J., in 2008.
Marie was a dedicated homemaker, a parishioner and Eucharistic minister at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, NJ and very active with the church’s senior citizen group. She also actively volunteered for Sussex County Meals on Wheels.
Marie is predeceased by her husband, Michael Lebron (April 26, 2017), 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Rev. John Zich, Dr. Walter Zich, Bernice Zich and Helen Thielker and is the devoted mother of Michael Lebron of New York City, N.Y., Mary Carpinelli of Wayne, N.J., John Lebron of Bristow, Va., Robert Lebron of Jackson, N.J., and Diane Szabo of Edwardsville, Pa.. Cherished by 14 grandchildren.
The family received their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at noon.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, N.J., at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., N.J.
