PTO happy with Tiger Chase turnout

LAFAYETTE — Lafayette Township Elementary School's (LTES) PTO hosted its 3rd Annual Tiger Chase 5K, 10K and Paw Print Sprint Kids Fun Run on Saturday, May 20. Participants were from near and far. Race Director, Liane Jenkins was please with the turn out.
“Considering there are 5K’s every weekend, I am so happy that people are choosing Lafayette’s Tiger Chase to race in,” she said.
First place male of the 5K went to Joseph David of Sparta with a time of 16:42, second place went to Jeff Staple and third place went to Max Miller, a 6th grader of Lafayette Township Elementary School. First place female of the 5K went to Elena Rozako from Morristown with a time of 19:19:, 2nd place went to Kaleigh Scott and 3rd place went to Isabella Wolak.
First-place male of the 10K went to Dave DiCerbo of Lafayette with a time of 38:01, second place went to Steven Manole and 3rd place went to Max White. First place female of the 10K went to Stephanie Peterson of Lafayette with a time of 42:42, second place went to Polly Harrison and 3rd place went to Meghan Radimer.
The kids were not left out either. The Paw Print Sprint kids fun run allowed the little ones feel like runners too. The smiles of excitement showed as they crossed the finish line as Superintendent / Principal, Mrs. Jennifer Cenatiempo and Vice Principal, Gerry Fazzio handed each of the finishers a paw print medal.
Lafayette PTO was thrilled at the turnout.
