'Peace and Light' from Delaware Valley Choral Society

The Delaware Valley Choral Society will be performing a concert titled “Peace and Light” on May 26 in Newton, N.J., and on May 27 in Milford.
Come be refreshed and renewed from the troubles of the world listening to choral works by Maurice Duruflé and Gabriel Fauré. Joining the choral society will be notable soloists Patricia Ruggles and Lane Conklin McCord, along with renowned organist Craig Williams. The very special guest group, Clarum Sonum, with Rider Foster directing, will be joining in performance of these very special works.
The May 26 concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 54 High Street in Newton, N.J.
The May 27 concert will begin at 2 p.m. at the Milford United Methodist Church located at 206 East Ann Street in Milford.
Tickets for “Peace and Light” are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased in advance by contacting Helen Monisera at 845-856-5696, Diane Fornoff at 570-296-5333, or Jeffrey Fornoff at 570-267-8773. Tickets will also be available at the door.
The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a non-profit group dedicated to performing major choral works in their original form. The Society incorporates aspiring musicians from the area as well as professional musicians to bring major works of music to our community.
