Lafayette school plans 3rd annual Tiger Chase

Lafayette Elementary School’s PTO is hosting its 3rd Annual Tiger Chase 5k/10K and Paw Print Sprint kids fun run on Saturday, May 20.
This event is a fundraiser for the Lafayette Elementary School. All proceeds go back to the teachers and students at the school. Past proceeds were put toward a 7-piece fitness station that is utilized by the public and middle school students.
The Tiger Chase has something for everyone a 5K for runners or walkers, a challenging 10K and a fun run for kids 3rd grade and under. All races take place at Lafayette Elementary School on Beaver Run Road beginning at 8:30 am with NJ State Police monitoring the road closure.
The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified and part of the USATF-NJ Grand Prix Series (500 points). While supplies last 5K and 10K participants will get a technical shirt and first 150 registrants will get a product filled goody bag. The Paw Print Sprint kids fun run course will be age appropriate. Each fun run participants will get a t-shirt and finishing medal.
