WANTAGE — The High Point Wildcats scored 16 runs in the first inning on their way to a 23-2 win over the Wallkill Valley Rangers on Friday, April 28.
Casey Rutter and Madi Stires each batted in four runs for High Point. Also Rutter scored three runs and Stires scored twice. Kelsey Little had three runs batted in and three runs scored for High Point (3-7). Kate Kiefer, Grace Musilli, Ally Fairweather, Cassady Bruning, Emma Wiedbrauk and Britt Haley each drove in two runs for High Point.
Janecia Cabrera and Brianna Millier scored for Wallkill Valley (5-8).
