The 15th annual Franklin HIstorical Society/Sussex County Railroad Club's train show will be held at the Littell Community Center in Franklin on Sunday, May 7, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
This annual event, which continues to grow each year, will feature many railroad model and memorabilia items for sale. The list would include dealers, private individuals, and regional Railroad Historical Societies, with an estimated 80 tables of merchandise from 30 different vendors, Items would include scale model and Lionel trains, railroad collectables such as photos and books, and railroad videos. This year the show will feature operating model railroad layouts, as well as refreshments and door prizes. Most of these vendors come back year after year, as well as new ones that are joining us for the first time.
The show usually draws about 400-500 visitors and is great fun for the kids and adults, as what child doesn’t like trains. Admission is $5.00 for adults and children under 12 are free.
