Legion post plans Memorial Day services=

The American Legion Post 423 of Milton will conduct Memorial Day Services on Monday, May 29.
The Post is located at 28 Legion Road, Jefferson Township.
The Color Guard and the Firing Squad will begin the day by visiting the graves of veterans at several local cemeteries in the area. Commander Lakhicharran will give a service at each of the cemeteries in remembrance of those who have served in the military.
American Flags will be placed at each of the graves of veterans in eleven local cemeteries starting on Saturday, May 20. To have a flag placed at a Veterans grave, contact Joe Mikowski (973-697-4957) and let him know.
A service will also be held at the monuments in front of the Post on Legion Road at 12 o’clock noon on Memorial Day. There will be guest speakers who will honor those who served in the Military and Veterans who have passed on.
The Post invites everyone to attend the services at the Post and to stay for refreshments when the services are completed.
