Michael A. Lebron, 93, died Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Regency Gardens in Wayne. Mr. Lebron, son of the late Miguel and Juana (Gonzalez) Lebron was born in Detroit, MI January 22, 1924. Mr. Lebron resided in Hamburg for 44 years, moving to Wayne in 2008.
Mr. Lebron worked for Amerace, Inc., in Butler for 20 years. He also worked for Cyanamid in Wayne and later retired from Shulton Corp. in Clifton where he was an Export Traffic Supervisor.
Mr. Lebron was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Occupation of Japan. He also served several terms on the Hamburg Borough Council. He was a parishioner and lector at St. Jude The Apostle RC Church in Hamburg where he was also active with the churches seniors. As well Mr. Lebron was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
Mr. Lebron is survived by his wife, Marie (Zich) Lebron; children, Michael Lebron of New York, N.Y., Mary Carpinelli of Wayne, John Lebron of Bristow, Va., Robert Lebron of Jackson and Diane Szabo of Edwardsville, Pa.; brother, Reynaldo Lebron of Satellite Beach, Fla., and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday May 1, 2017, at 9:15 a.m. from F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St. Franklin, to St. Jude The Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Franklin.
