Alicia F. Montello, 25, and her mother, Darlene E. Gindhart both died Wednesday April 19, 2017. Alicia was born in Melrose, Mass., November 1, 1991. She has resided in the Stockholm section of Hardyston Twp. for most of her life.
Alicia was a dispatcher for the Riverdale Police Department. She also had worked for her stepfather, Rob in his construction business. Alicia loved cooking and was a photographer and artist. While in high school she played on the Wallkill Valley Regional High School soccer team. She loved the preservation of nature and had extremely strong family values. Alicia was part of The Way International Ministry. She was a determined and faithful person and never backed down.
Alicia is survived by her father and stepmother, Kenneth and Yolanda Montello of Summerville, S.C.; stepfather, Robert Gindhart of Stockholm; brother, Sean Gindhart of Stockholm; fiancé, John E. Tria of Butler; stepsister & stepbrothers, Nichole Montello of Franklin, Mass., Isaac Manzano of Bloomingdale and Jael Rodriguez of Woodbridge, VA; maternal Grandparents, Elizabeth Umowski of Bogota and Stanley Umowski Jr. of Washington Twp.; grandparents, John & Barbara Gindhart of Hawley, Pa., as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 1-4 p.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin. A service will follow at 4 p.m. Interment and graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 10 a.m. at North Hardyston Cemetery.
