    March 20Clifford Clark, 41, of Wantage was sentenced to three years of probation, 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, submit a DNA sample, have no contact with the victim plus fines and fees with restitution in the amount of $4,103.59 and he is to write letters of apology to his victims.
    Clark was given 61 days jail credit.
    He pleaded guilty on Jan. 30, 2017, to criminal trespass (a fourth-degree crime), driving While suspended (a fourth-degree crime, hindering Apprehension (a disorderly persons offense) and Simple Assault (a disorderly persons offense).
    March 24Benjamin Bloom, age 28, of Andover, was sentenced to four years’ probation, 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations, drug monitoring, obtain/maintain full time employment and have no contact with the victim plus fines and fees. Bloom was given 57 days jail credit.
    He pleaded guilty on Jan. 10, to endangering the welfare of a child (a third-degree crime) and Simple Assault (a disorderly persons offense).
    March 31Rafael Sanchez, 28, of Manhattan, and Michael Hirsch, 63, of Bronx, were each sentenced to 2 1/2 years of probation.
    They both must also submit DNA samples and pay $155 in court fines and fees. Sanchez must also obtain his GED.
    Sanchez pled guilty on Jan. 25, to fourth-degree Criminal trespass. Hirsch also pleaded guilty on Jan. 25 to third-degree theft.
    In September of 2011 the defendants, and a third co-defendant, broke into a Sparta Township residence taking various items of jewelry. They then pawned the jewelry in New York City.
    Charles Southard, 27, of Hamburg was sentenced to four years of probation and 60 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility with credit for 11 days time served. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same and pay fines and fees totaling $155. 
    His driver license was ordered suspended for six months.
    He pleaded guilty on Nov. 28, 2016, to theft, a fourth-degree crime, and burglary, a third-degree crime. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 23, 2017, to failure to turn over a controlled dangerous substance, a disorderly persons offense, and defiant trespass, a petty disorderly persons offense.
    The defendant took an iPad from a Franklin residence on June 26, 2016. He also entered a structure in Wantage for the purpose of committing a theft on Aug. 21, 2016. On December 19, 2016, he trespassed inside a Spring Street building in Newton and failed to turn over a controlled dangerous substance.
    April 3Melanie Powell, 27, of Sheldrake, N.Y., pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime, and hindering apprehension, a fourth-degree crime. 
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 19.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to possessing heroin and to providing her maiden name to avoid arrest based on an arrest warrant in her married name in Lafayette Township in July 2015.
    Kori Bodle, 27, of Ogdensburg pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, a fourth-degree crime, and to a violation of probation. 
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 12.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to resisting her arrest by officers of the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office by fleeing from them on foot in Ogdensburg on Feb. 24. 
    April 6Joseph Kaegi, age 31, of Wantage, was sentenced to five years’ probation, obtain/maintain employment, drug monitoring and psychiatric evaluation/treatment plus fines and fees.
    Kaegi was given 2 days jail credit.
    He pleaded guilty on Jan. 10, to unlawful possession of a weapon (a second-degree crime) and theft of a weapon (a third-degree crime).
    April 7Jesus Fabian, 29, of Bronx was sentenced to three years in New Jersey state prison. He was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $939.96 and fines and fees totaling $405.  
    He pleaded guilty on Feb. 27, 2017, to two counts of fraudulent use of a Credit Card, a third-degree crime, and Theft by Deception, a third-degree crime. 
    The defendant conducted two credit card purchases on Dec. 21, 2014, at the Newton Kohls using credit cards in the names of other individuals for merchandise totaling $1,255.76.
