Violet 'Jill' Babcock

Violet “Jill” Babcock, 65 years old, died at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Born to Edward John and Martha Stevens, she has been a lifelong resident of Franklin, N.J.
Jill was a dedicated homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She took great joy in playing the lottery, spending time with her grandchildren and enjoying the scenery of Sussex County with her husband, Fred.
Jill is predeceased by a son, Roger Ross(2012), a brother, Edward John Stevens and a sister, Betty Stevens and is the beloved wife of 22 years, but life partner for 45 years to Frederick Babcock. Devoted mother of Christopher Ross and his wife, Suzanne, of Franklin, Nellie Babcock and her fiancée, Anthony Swope of Franklin, Frederick Babcock, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Franklin and Marcus Babcock and his wife, Amanda of Franklin, NJ. Loving grandmother of Christopher and Matthew Ross, Cassandra, Jonathan, Derek, Rylan and Drew Babcock. Cherished by her great grandson, Jacob Ross.
The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. Service will follow at 7PM at the funeral home.
