The Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders is pleased to announce that it is revising the Planning Board Fee Schedule for Development Reviews.
This is being done in order to improve economic competitiveness of Sussex County and attract new development into the county.
It is the first step in reducing the regulatory burden on developers and citizen taxpayers.
According to Freeholder Director Carl Lazzaro, “the dramatically reduced fees are intended to encourage new development.”
The matter was introduced for a first reading via Ordinance at the regularly scheduled Freeholder meeting on Feb. 22.
