Citizens Action Project inspired by women's march

NEWTON — Several members of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sussex County who attended the Women's March in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 21 have been inspired to carry out "10 actions in 100 days," as recommended by the organizers of the March.
The fellowship has a Social Action Committee which will sponsor this effort, to be called a "Citizens Action Project." The Citizens Action Project will be non-partisan and will focus on communicating concerns about issues that are moral and ethical in nature.
Fellowship members and friends have been invited to gather every Sunday from 1-2 p.m. to work side by side on their own individual messages to Congress and the White House. Members of the public, male or female, who felt inspired by the Women's March and would like to join the Fellowship's Citizens Action Project are welcome to participate any Sunday afternoon. Those who would prefer to carry out citizen actions in the comfort of their own home can find suggested actions at www.womensmarch.com/100.
