    Cecelia T. (Ament) Donkersloot, age 83, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017.
    She was born on May 19, 1933, in Passaic, N.J. to the late Andrew and Theresa (Furesz) Ament.
    Cecelia lived in Passaic, N.J., Jacksonville, N.C., and the Milton section of Jefferson Township, N.J., since 1960.
    She worked as a secretary for 27 years for the Jefferson Township Board of Education. She was a volunteer with the Milton First Aid Squad, active for 35 years, and is a life member. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and was a Eucharistic Minister too.
    Cecelia holds a special place in the heart of all who knew her. Her fierce love for and dedication to her family and community members will remain at the forefront of our memories. She was truly an inspiration to those around her. Her kindness, positive outlook on life, and most importantly, her determination and unwavering faith are just a few of the traits that will be remembered always and will live on through those who love her.
    She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew Ament and Theresa Takach and her step-father James Takach, and brothers Charles Ament, Andrew Ament and Lawrence Ament.
    She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Aaron Richard Donkersloot and four daughters — Cecelia Kusha and her husband Gary of Sparta, N.J.,Sharon Hornig and her husband George of Shohola, PA, Karen Morrow of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Joyce Donkersloot of Milton, N.J. — and seven grandchildren — Nicole (Kusha) Alunni and her husband Vincent, Lauren Kusha, Theresa (Hornig) Slemp and her husband Jeffery, Jeffrey Hornig, Michelle Hornig, Victoria (Morrow) Harris and her husband Austin and Richard Morrow. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Tracy, Jacob, Caleb and Lylah Slemp and Vienna and Gavin Alunni. Cecelia is also survived by her two beloved sisters, Delores Waksmundski and Marie Curti and 9 nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (GPS use 1 Post Place).
    The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438.
    The interment will follow at the Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sparta, N.J.
