Peters Valley plans weekend event

    Peters Valley School of Craft will hold a weekend event, Feb. 11-12, a pop-up shop from noon until 4 p.m. each day featuring the work of three local artists with a fashion show held on Saturday, Feb. 11.
    Love You: Adornments for you and the ones you adore provides a fun occasion to break from the midwinter gray and enjoy colorful company, refreshments, and unique wearables. Neile Cooper of Sparta will display her unique and colorful heirloom jewelry preserving real butterfly wings in hand-cut glass. Robin Lennon of Newton designs striking and uncommon women’s artwear that reflects the artist’s passion for combining texture, pattern and color. Melissa Montimurro of Layton creates original, one-of-a-kind hand knitted and crocheted clothing, embellished with vintage and handmade adornments. In addition to women’s clothing and jewelry, there will also be a selection of men’s accessories.So close to Valentine’s Day, this event provides a unique opportunity to take the guesswork out of picking the perfect gift. We encourage couples to spend the day together, taking the beautiful drive out to Peters Valley and selecting something special together.The Gallery at Peters Valley School of Craft is located at 19 Kuhn Rd., Layton, NJ 07851 and is currently open Thursday-Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
