Alcohol inks workshop planned in Newton

NEWTON — Learn the techniques and play with the thrill of the blooming and blending of the ink and watch as the vibrant colors act and react. All materials and supplies included; this hands-on workshop will send you home with your own beautiful, finished tiles.
Award-winning local artist Jane Brennan will teach the techniques of free flow, pouring and painting on ceramic tiles and learn more about other surfaces as well. Jane, also being an art teacher, enjoys sharing her talents with students at different locations in Milford, Pa., her own studio in Wantage and formerly at SCCC.
The workshop is being held on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. at Art Etc in Newton.
