    Dec. 14Paul Murch, 21, of Belleville pleaded guilty to third-degree eluding.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 3.
    The defendant admitted that when Andover Police attempted to pull him over for speeding he ignored police and continued riding his motorcycle into Newton. He eventually stopped the bike and tried to flee on foot when he was apprehended by police.
    Dec. 16James Conklin, 36, of Newton was sentenced to three years in New Jersey state prison on two counts, jail credit for 160 days, $50 VCCO, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTEF, on both charges.
    Community Supervision for Life converted to Parole Supervision for Life immediately upon release.
    He pleaded guilty on Oct. 17, to one count of violation of special Sentence (Community Supervision for Life) (a third-Degree Crime) and one count of Absconding from Parole (a Third Degree Crime).
    Dec. 19Thomas J. Scott, 29, of Hamburg pleaded guilty to assault by auto, a crime of the fourth degree and reckless driving.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 3.
    The defendant admitted to driving recklessly and crossing over the double yellow lines on Route 23 in Franklin, causing a motor vehicle accident in June, 2016. The driver of the other vehicle sustained serious injuries from the crash.
    Stacey Aho, 39, of Franklin pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault, fourth-degree offenses, a two counts of resisting arrest, a disorderly persons offense.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 3.
    Nicholas Vicari, 36, of Newton pleaded guilty to burglary, a third-degree crime and to a violation of probation.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 27.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to entering cars in the parking lot of Byram Shop Rite on July 9.
    James Rosenski, 46, of Hampton pleaded guilty to driving while license was suspended for a second or subsequent driving while intoxicated offense, a fourth-degree crime, and to the motor vehicle offenses of driving while intoxicated, and refusal to submit to breath test.
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 10.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to driving while intoxicated in Hampton Township on March 17, 2016, while his license was suspended for prior Driving While Intoxicated convictions.
    Brian Myrtle, 33, of Sparta pleaded guilty to defrauding the administration of a drug test, a third-degree crime.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 25.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to an effort to thwart detection of his use of heroin by providing his probation officer a fraudulent urine sample stored in a homemade storage device on May 4, 2016.
    The case was investigated by Sheriff’s Officer Scott Haggerty of the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office.
