Venture back Into the Woods with the Tony Award-winning musical classic by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine that has been remounted like you've never seen it before! Including dazzling songs like "Children Will Listen" and "No One Is Alone," this thrillingly clever new version made Ben Brantley of The New York Times fall "head over heels." Mind the wolf, heed the witch and honor the giant in the sky in this extraordinary musical about the power of wishes and what really happens after they come true.
The tour brings together the Dodgers, current producers of Jersey Boys and Matilda, and the original Tony Award-wining producers of Into The Woods with Bernadette Peters, and of its revival with Vanessa Williams, with NETworks Presentations, the wizards of the road who recently brought you South Pacific, Phantom and War Horse, to present the acclaimed Fiasco Theater production of Into The Woods that became New York's surprise hit of this season. Unanimously acclaimed, extended twice at the Roundabout, the award-winning musical classic was mounted with boundless imagination this New York theater season: A witty and wild theatrical re-invention like you've never seen it before.
Ben Brantley, of The New York Times said, "Fiasco has quickly become a force to reckon with in American theater. Deploying sparklingly lucid powers of interpretation, Fiasco has presented the most accessible version ever of the Stephen Sondheim-James Lapine musical Into the Woods."
