Girl Scouts make blankets, hats

FRANKLIN — Wallkill Valley Girl Scout Service unit (which is comprised of Franklin, Hamburg, Hardyston, and Ogdensburg) participated in a blanket and hat making Community service project.
Scouts learned how to make no-sew fleece blankets and fleece hats. They also collected canned food for a local food bank. Some of the blankets & hats were donated to a local Boy Scout Eagle Project. A total of 33 blankets and 27 hats were made.
