4-H plans pictures with Santa

The Sussex County 4-H Advisory Council is sponsoring “Pictures with Santa & 4-H Holiday Hodgepodge Market” Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 4-H Shotwell Educational Hall at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.
Pictures with Santa will be taken with Santa’s Sleigh with a winter back drop. Each session will be $10 with a photo to take home. Pets are welcome, but will be asked to wait in the car until it is their turn.
The Holiday Hodgepodge market is a great way for Sussex County 4-H clubs and family members to participate in a holiday club fundraising opportunity. Each club has the opportunity to sell whatever merchandise they would like (club made items, make and takes, store bought gifts) and keep the profits from their sales.
The council also hopes to have local author and 4-H supporter Elizabeth Rodger stopping by with her new Christmas book, "A Christmas Story For You."
Family and friends of 4-H are also encouraged to participate. This would be local small business or home-sales vendor such as Crafters, Thirty-One, LuLaRoe, Pampered Chef or Living Young Essential Oils representatives. This year we will only be asking them to bring a baked good for the Advisory Council Bake Sale as the fee for the table. Tables will be first come first serve, with priority given to 4-H clubs and families.
If you are interested in participate or would like more information please contacting the 4-H Office at 973-948-3040.
