The Newton Theatre presents The Artimus Pyle Band in a tribute honoring Pyle’s old band Lynyrd Skynyrd on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 8 p.m.
Tickets for this performance will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m.
Legendary former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle is all about the music. When he put together The Artimus Pyle Band he wanted the band to be a proper representation of the true Skynyrd spirit, one that would do justice to those incredible songs that Ronnie Van Zant wrote and sang with such conviction.
With impeccable timing, soaring guitars and gut wrenching vocals, The Artimus Pyle Band has done just that, with a true and proper tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd. They will play all the hits including Sweet Home Alabama, Free Bird, That Smell and Gimme Three Steps.
Artimus Pyle represents an important part of the incredible rollercoaster history of America’s greatest band, playing drums during the pinnacle years of 1974-1977 and then again for the Tribute tour of 1991. The Artimus Pyle Band are sure to get the crowd on their feet, singing, dancing and living the good life.
Tickets for The Artimus Pyle Band range from $32 to $47. Purchase tickets by visiting www.thenewtontheatre.com or contact the Box Office at 973-383-3700.
