Wallkill Valley Girl Scout Troop 95328 collected supplies, such as aluminum foil, paper towels, cleaning products and decaf coffee for the Harvest House located at the First Baptist Church in Sussex.
Harvest House offers a free nutritionally balanced meal to individuals in the Sussex, NJ area. They are always looking for donations and volunteers throughout the year!
The Girl Scouts also collected non-perishable Food and toiletries including soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, shampoo and conditioner, perfume and lotions. These items were all donated to Connect for Community located in Sparta. Connect for Community provide food and toiletries to food pantries, soup kitchens, and social service agencies. This particular donation will be going to Partnership for Social Services in Franklin.
The girls had a great time collecting the items to earn their "Helping others" fun patch.
If anyone is interested in donating, please email Becky at troop95328@gmail.com.
