    Norman E. Smyth, 80, of Oak Ridge, NJ, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 16,2016.
    He was born on Feb. 21, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Katherine (nee O’Rourke) and Norman T. Smyth.
    Norman proudly served in the US Air Force.
    He married Caryl (Haltigan) in 1959 and resided and raised their family in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, later moving to Oak Ridge, N.J., until each of their passings.
    Norman was in banking and investments throughout his career, primarily as a financial advisor.
    He was predeceased by his loving wife Caryl in 2013.
    Norman is survived by his beloved children Cynthia S. Kluska and her husband Joseph J. of Hackettstown, N.J., Suzanne Prigoda and her husband Thomas P. of Larchmont, N.Y., Christopher N. Smyth and his wife, Melody, of Flanders, N.J., and Craig N. Smyth and his wife, Krista, of Apopka, FL; his cherished grandchildren Matthew and Laura Kluska, Paul and Sean Prigoda, Emma and Connor Smyth, and Chynna and Wyatt Smyth; his dear siblings Kathleen Bartnik, Lillian Smyth and Thomas Smyth; as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.
    Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, from 11 a.m. to noon followed by a memorial service at noon at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ (GPS use 1 Post Place).
