Get some unique gifts at Stonehill Pottery Shop

| 17 Nov 2016 | 12:01

It is that time of year again.
Stonehill Pottery owner Maria Glaser-Roeser is hosting her annual Holiday Pottery and Gift Sale, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as next weekend. Shoppers can find unique and affordable handmade gifts at the sale, many of them are under $30.
Glaser-Roeser has been making her pottery - both functional and decorative - for more than 30 years. She has been in her Newfoundland shop for 24 years. The shop is filled with wares that are functional and decorative, whimsical with animal and nature motifs.
She also makes custom and special order pieces - she loves a challenge - but place your orders now; they take up to four weeks to make.
Glaser-Roeser has invited other crafters to participate in her special extended hours show. There will be organic soaps, body scrubs, hand-sewn items, Christmas silk decorations, dried herb sachets, home baked cookies and chocolate bark and much more. Of course she will have her hot cider and cookies to refresh you while you browse.
This year, she has also invited her students to show and sell their pottery. Come and see what nice work they do!
This sale is a must for holiday shoppers. But if you can't make the sale, Stonehill Pottery is open Wednesday through Friday and most Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., until Christmas, or by appointment.
