Jefferson Arts Committee plans Broadway trip

OAK RIDGE — The Jefferson Arts Committee will travel to Broadway on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, for the 2 p.m. matinee of “On Your Feet”!
The attendees will board the bus at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church at 5635 Berkshire Valley Road in Milton/Oak Ridge, N.J., at 10 a.m. and depart promptly at 10:15 a.m. sharp to arrive in NYC around 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be on your own and then we will enjoy the performance of “On Your Feet” at the Marquis Theatre located on 46th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue. We will return to St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church after the performance.
“On Your Feet”! is the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, 2 people who, through an unwavering dedication to one another and their pursuit of the American Dream, showcased their talent, their music, and their heritage to the world in a remarkable rise to global superstardom. It features songs made famous by Gloria Estefan such as “Get on Your Feet”, “Conga”, “1-2-3” and “Rhythm is Gonna Get You”.
It also features an original song called “If I Never Got to Tell You” with lyrics by Gloria Estefan and music by their daughter, Emily Estefan.
The cost of this performance which includes orchestra seating, deluxe motor coach accommodations and driver gratuity, is $112.
