    Dorothy M. Sullivan, 81 years old, passed on after a long illness at Newton Medical Center on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016. Born to John and Martha Wilson in Staten Island, N.Y., she lived in Sussex County since 1966 including Newton and then Franklin, N.J., since 2009.
    Dorothy earned her AA in Business Administration from Montclair State University. She worked as a dietary supervisor at Barn Hill Care Center and then was the Co Owner of Echoes of Erin in Newton, N.J. with her husband, John. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church. While living at the Franklin House, she started the book club, “The Book Worms” and the library there as well as leading the board game clubs for Yahtzee and Over the Hill Monopoly.
    Dorothy is the beloved wife for 60 years of John C. Sullivan, Sr. of Franklin, N.J. Devoted mother of John C. Sullivan, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Knightsdale, N.C., Michael D. Sullivan and his wife, Veronika of Fort Worth, Tex., Patrick H. Sullivan of Newport Richey, FL, Frances A. Gumpper and her husband, Edward of Bradenton, Fla., and Mary E. Sullivan of Branchville, N.J. Loving grandmother of Kristyn, Timothy, Shawn and his wife, Megan, Megan, Lauren and her husband, Evan, and Stephanie. Dear sister-in-law of Neal Sullivan of New City, N.Y.
    The family will receive visitors at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 9:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Newton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to the Wallkill Valley First Aid Squad, P.O.
