Police: Men posted threats online

FRANKLIN — Two Georgia men are facing charges following a third-party complaint of individual’s broadcasting himself on social media through Periscope and Facebook, the Franklin Police Department Detective Bureau conducted an investigation.
The broadcastings and posting were allegedly geographically linked to northern New Jersey municipalities, including Franklin Borough.
Authorio T. Pauldo, 19, of Macon, Ga., was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of hollow point bullets, possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine, and terroristic threats. He was lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
Khalico Francis, 19, of Macon, Ga., was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of hollow point bullets, possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine, and possession of a weapon other than a firearm, specifically the brass knuckles. He was lodged in the Sussex County Jail on $35,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
During the investigation, police said detectives determined those posting/broadcasting photos of themselves handling various weapons were Pauldo and Francis. Both are alleged to be employed for a traveling maintenance company that was working in the area.
On Oct. 12, both these men were found in the Walmart of Franklin on Route 23 and taken into custody. The investigation resulted in the seizure of a nine-millimeter automatic hand gun, large capacity ammunition magazine, specifically a nine millimeter, 30-round polymer magazine, and “RIP cartridge style hollow point bullets” which have eight trocar tips that are designed to break off during penetration and form separate wound channels, and are highly invasive. Francis was found to further be in possession of brass knuckles in a gold-colored finish.
The investigation is ongoing and additional complaints may be filed.
