Scott Garrett getting too extreme

Just when I thought Tea Partier Scott Garrett couldn’t get more extreme, he joined forces with the Oath Keepers.
The Oath Keepers are a registered domestic terrorist organization with the New Jersey office of Homeland Security put on the list during the Christie administration. Garrett showed his support at a breakfast with one of the Oath Keepers, Edward Durfee, who is an official for the group but also is a 9/11 Truther. With so many New Jersey first responders who went and helped clean up the Pile at Ground Zero, how could he doubt these brave men and women that terrorists were responsible? How can our sitting Congressman praise this lunatic as an “unsung hero”?
The 9/11 response I want from my Congressman is to tighten security and support our first responders, not support people who spin conspiracies about why it happened.
Garrett has routinely voted against our first responders, including refusing to pursue already-allocated funds to give police officers and firefighters the equipment they need to keep our communities safe. He voted against the Zadroga Act, which provides health care to the first responders who developed potentially fatal health issues after serving at the sites of the 9/11 attacks.
Scott Garrett keeps going further off the deep end. And it’s just as nuts to vote him into office again.
