Herbert R. Ferrell Jr.

Herbert R. Ferrell Jr. of West Milford died on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016. He was 71.
Beloved husband of Judy (Clausz) Ferrell, he was born in Pequannock and was the son of the late Herbert R. Sr. and Emma (Hudak) Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell was a West Milford resident for 45 years, moving here from Wayne. He was employed by Bell Telephone, Riverdale, as a switchman and was a member of the West Milford Elks, American Legion Post 289 of West Milford and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Herbert R. III of Wanaque and Darren Ferrell of Colorado; one sister, Patricia Engles, of Sussex; and three grandchildren, Hunter, Henry and Lillian Ferrell.
Visitation will be held at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. Disposition will be private.
