Clara YVonne Roux

Clara Yvonne Roux, 95, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. She was born on March 20, 1921 in Fall River, Mass., to the late Hermidas and Clara (nee Deschenes) Brisson. Clara was a resident of Tenafly, Dumont and Ogdensburg and moved to Sparta in 2009.
Clara enjoyed crafts, puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church, the Rosary Society, the Franklin Senior Center, and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army.
Clara is predeceased by her husband, Raymond P. Roux (2005), and her son, Roland P. Roux (1995), and five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her brother Norman Brisson and sister, Alice Cullen both of Rhode Island, her children, Normand A Roux and his wife, Carol of Anderson, S.C., Yvonne R. Roux and her husband, Stephen Magnotta, of Ogdensburg, Roger L. Roux and his wife, Linda, of Fredericksburg, Va., Gerard A. Roux and his wife, Milagros, of Freehold, N.J., and Raymond P. Roux Jr. and his wife, Carol of Tenafly, as well as her cherished ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends were received on Monday, Sept. 26, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main Street, Franklin, N.J., and gathered at funeral home on Tuesday Sept. 27, at 9AM for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church, Ogdensburg, N.J., internment to follow in St. Thomas of Aquin Cemetery.
