Two people were arrested after Franklin police investigated complaints of narcotics use and sale in and around Main Street.
Louise Ezzo, 39, and Matthew Styeer, 29, of Wantage were both charged with possession of marijuana, possesion of a controlled dangerous substance-benzodiazepines, use of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were alleged to have several hundred dollars’ worth of marijuana along with Clonazepam and drug paraphernalia, following their arrest at approximately 2:30 p.m. A vehicle being driven by Mr. Styer had left the Main Street area just prior to being stopped by Detectives on State Highway 23 when the pair was found with the narcotics.
Investigation is ongoing and additional arrests may follow.
