Aggie Keith of Matawan spent Saturday afternoon creating jewelry using sterling silver to wire-wrap polished stones at the Franklin-Sterling Gem & Mineral Show. Her company is called, þÄúþÄòROCKþÄô ON!!þÄù It is the showþÄôs 60th year and its second show of 2016.
FRANKLIN — Last weekend, the two-day semiannual Franklin-Sterling Gem & Mineral Show continued to draw crowds in its 60th year.
It is one of the largest gem and mineral shows in northern New Jersey.
Held at the Franklin Elementary School, the show hosted some 31 vendors in the school’s gymnasium and more than 40 additional vendors outside the school.
The show offered a wide variety of items for sale including gems, mineral specimens of many varieties, fine and costume jewelry, lapidary items, books, and much more.
