Pass It Along plans Viking Cruise fundraisera

NEWTON — Anyone may now bid online for a spectacular Mediterranean cruise for two on the Viking Sea courtesy of Viking Cruises.
Viking Cruises is a privately owned, professionally managed company offering river and ocean cruises. Viking Cruises was voted World's Best Award in 2016 by Travel & Leisure readers. Viking Cruises destination-focused river and ocean itineraries are designed for experienced travelers with an interest in geography, culture and history.
Offered up for bid is an 8-day Mediterranean cruise for two with a private veranda stateroom, sailing from Barcelona to Rome on the Viking Sea. Visit 4 countries and 6 ports. Includes one excursion in every port call, all on board meals, port taxes and fees. Airfare not included. Retail value is currently estimated at $6,098. The opening and minimum bid offer is $950. Bidding closes on the evening of Oct. 14, 2016. The winning bid will be announced at Pass It Along's upcoming A Night at the Races event on Oct. 14 at the Red Tail Lodge in Vernon. The winner need not be present at the event to claim this offer.
All proceeds from the auction and A Night at the Races fundraising event will go to support Pass It Along, a local nonprofit organization providing free programs for teenagers in self-discovery, volunteerism and leadership.
