E. Ruth Dahn

E. Ruth Dahn (nee Simpson), 93 years old, died peacefully at Bristol Glen in Newton, N.J., on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016. Born to the late William and Sarah Simpson in Hamburg, N.J., she has lived in Newton for several years.
Ruth worked as a bookkeeper for the Richard Dahn Trucking Co., Inc. in Sparta, N.J., for 50 years retiring 20 years ago. Ruth enjoyed her family and travelled around the world with her husband, Richard. She was a member of the Sparta United Methodist Church and active in the church’s organizations as well as teaching Sunday School. She took great joy in square dancing with the Sussex Spinners.
Ruth is predeceased by her grandson, Curtis Dahn and is the beloved wife for 72 years of Richard C. Dahn. Devoted mother of Richard W. Dahn and his wife, Kathleen of Sparta, NJ and Thomas M. Dahn and his wife, Susan of Barnaget, NJ. Loving grandmother of Mark and Jeffrey Dahn. Great Grandmother of Cicely, Grace, Quinn and Scarlet.
