Build a career, not a job, with the brand new Building Construction Technology degree program at Sussex County Community College.
Brand new this fall, the Building Construction Technology program prepares students for entrance into the building construction field through hands-on skills training and lecture-style learning. This program is offered during the Late Start session and begins on Sept. 26. For additional Late Start courses visit sussex.edu/late-start.
The program covers a full spectrum of tools to get students ready for their new career, including leadership and planning, technology trends, understanding building codes and schematics, problem solving, sustainable practices, ethics, and safety.
Students will be prepared to enter their new field upon completion of the program. Additional schooling is not required.
Some courses for this program will be held on SCCC’s new campus location at Vernon High School, in nearby Vernon. Interested students can apply and register now. For more information, please visit sussex.edu or contact Admissions at 973-300-2223.
