A borough woman faces charges on Aug. 31 after Franklin police officers were injured while responding to a reported dispute.
Stacey Aho, 38, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, two counts of resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. She was transported to an area hopsital.
Upon arrival officers were met with Aho, 38, of Franklin, who was alleged to be intoxicated. While officers were assessing the situation, Aho was alleged to become disorderly, shouting profanities, threatening to harm officers, and flailing her arms recklessly. Officers made attempts to place her under arrest; however, she is alleged to have become violent and resisted arrest.
Aho assaulted Officer Daniel Flora and Officer David Macquesten both of whom were recently hired as Police Officers in Franklin Boro. Both officers suffered bruising and lacerations and were treated at area hospitals and released. Officer Grissom was kicked in the abdomen during the incident. He did not receive medical attention.
She is scheduled to appear in Sussex County Superior Court.
