    Brooke Van Veen of Oak Ridge will march with the 2016 Pride of The Valley Marching Band of Lebanon Valley College.
    Van Veen, a graduate of Jefferson Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of music and bachelor of arts in audio and music production and music at The Valley.
    The marching band performs at all home football games as well as exhibitions including the Cavalcade of Bands Championships in Hershey, Pa., and the Collegiate Marching Band Festival held in Allentown, Pa.
    Marissa Taryn DeOliveira of Hamburg received a bachelor's of arts in political science and Kristina Maria Garrera of Franklin received a bachelor of science in nursing.
    DeOliveira graduated summa cum aude.
    Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.7.
    Samantha Decker and Joshua Sporer, both of Oak Ridge, Lance Fisherr of Lafayette and Eric Ganz of Hamburg have enrolled in the class of 2020 at Wilkes University.
    More than 700 freshman have enrolled.
    Alexis Bishop of Oak Ridge was inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta honor society at Susquehanna University.
    Sigma Tau Delta is the International English honor society. Bishop is a political science and creative writing major in the Class of 2018. A 2012 graduate of Jefferson Township High School, she is the daughter of Thomas and Jennifer Bishop.
    Andrew Caragher of Lafayette enrolled at Lehigh University as part of the class 2020.
    The members of the Class of 2020 represent 40 states and 30 countries. It is also one of the most diverse classes ever admitted to Lehigh.
    Sydney Gondola of Oak Ridge has enrolled at James Madison University for the fall 2016 semester.
    Gondola's selected major is communication sciences and disorders.
