AUGUSTA — As a departure from its baseball, food truck, and wine tasting offerings, last weekend Skylands Stadium offered families the opportunity to avoid the parkway and enjoy a fun and watery day at home in Sussex County.
In addition to the rides for the children, there were plenty of food offerings as well as cold beverages in the 85 degree heat of the afternoon. There was also the chance to play Knockerball in a shaded tent area. There were also pony rides for the kids and miniature train rides for the whole family. • Next on the agenda, from Friday, September 16 to Sunday, September 18, will be the second-annual Outdoor Recreation & Sportsmen’s Expo and on September 17 will be the Skylands Stadium Beer Fest. • To learn about more upcoming events at the stadium, visit their Website at www.SkylandsStadium.com or call the box office at (973) 940-0222.
