VERNON — Those fortunate enough to see the 57th consecutive art show by members of Highland Lakes Country Club and Community Association can testify to fact that there are a lot of really good artists living in Highland Lakes.
About 200 works of art in various mediums were exhibited by 17 artists in the Lake Room of the clubhouse last weekend, with a “Meet the Artists” reception for the professional exhibit held on Saturday.
Three musicians from the Vernon Township High School Chamber Orchestra provided the entertainment, and, indeed, the quality and professionalism of these young performers matched that of the professional artists.
