Skylands Stadium hosts Beer Fest

    Where else can you sample your choice of over 100 delicious craft beers, enjoy live music and have a blast playing interactive games? On Saturday, Sept. 17, you will find all of that and more right in your own backyard at the Skylands Stadium Beer Fest.
    For the second year in a row, delectable craft beer will flow at the All-New Skylands Stadium. This unique fall festival will be staged in the brand new Skylands Stadium play and party zone – The Backyard Place and will feature a variety of beer selections from Elysian Brewing, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Flying Fish, Goose Island, The Shed Brewery, Ithaca Brewing Co., McKenzie’s Hard Citer, Otter Creek Brewing Co., Ramstein, Shipyard and Victory.
    While you sample some of the best craft beer around, you and your family will enjoy live music by Toy Canon and can play interactive games like corn hole, can jam, ladder toss and volleyball to win exciting prizes. Tasty and affordable food will also be available at the Skylands Stadium concessions and at several food trucks that will be parked on the grounds.
    The Festival will take place rain or shine at the All-New Skylands Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 17. The Beer Fest opens at 1 p.m. and will go until 6 p.m. with beer tasting from 1-5 p.m.
    Purchase a Festival and Beer Tasting combo ticket for $39 to receive admission into the festival, unlimited beer tasting and admission to the Outdoor Recreation & Sportsmen’s Expo, which will take place on the same day in the Skylands Stadium Event Center. Patrons must be 21 years of age or older to participate in the beer tasting and will be asked to show a valid photo ID. Those who are not at least 21 years of age or who do not wish to take part in the beer tasting may purchase a Festival Only/Designated Driver Ticket for $5. Those with a Festival Only/Designated Driver Ticket will not be served alcohol.
