There was a groundbreaking event at the property donated to Sussex County Habitat for Humanity by Wells Fargo on July 20.
The existing home was beyond repair and had to be torn down. A pole barn is being erected in its place. The new pole barn will be used for storage and office space. Demolition has already begun.
The building should be erected by then end of August beginning of September and Sussex County Habitat will proceed from there. Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is hoping to have the building operational by December.
