SoSvets Closets are filling up

Project Help has partnered with Catholic Charities in an effort to supply articles of clothing, shoes, outerwear and small household appliances to the SOSvets Closets in four counties in New Jersey.
These closets are available to all veterans and their family members to obtain items at no cost. Recently, children’s backpacks, filled with school supplies, were delivered by Project Help to Catholic Charities in Franklin, N.J.
“These donations of backpacks were provided by the 1st Presbyterian Church in Stanhope”, said Sandy Mitchell, Director of Project Help. “Project Help has been instrumental in filling these closets and we are delighted at the success of our drives for donations."
Veterans are encouraged to take advantage of these closets that have been set up for their benefit.
The Sussex County closet is located 48 Wyker Road in Franklin. Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Phone number is 973-209-0123.
These locations are all under the Catholic Charities of Paterson initiative. Project Help is looking to establish additional locations to make it more convenient for veterans and their families to be able to take advantage of this service.
Donations of very gently used and new items of clothing can be dropped off at any of the locations above or at 55 Bank St., Sussex N.J., just leave on front porch. Tell them Project Help alerted you about this opportunity to help veterans.
