Trail Walk rescheduled in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE — Angry Erik Brewing and Heather Housekeeper, aka The Botanical Hiker, will host a nature walk along the Paulinskill Trail on Sunday, Aug. 21, from 1-4 p.m.
The cost is $25 and includes a sampler or pint of beer at Angry Erik Brewing. The walk was originally planned for July 31 and has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Ever wonder what edible and medicinal plants can be found along your favorite wooded trails or even in your own backyard? Join the Botanical Hiker for a walk on the Paulinskill Trail where she will introduce you to these plants along with techniques on how to harvest and prepare them for delicious treats and healthful medicines. This walk will be easy-going with lots of stops along the way to talk all things plants.
The walk will being and end at Angry Erik Brewing, where you will tour the brewhouse and enjoy a pint or sampler of some of the freshest & most local beer available, included in the cost of the walk.
