Rave On to play in Jefferson

    Rave On will appear in the 2016 free summer concert series on Friday evening, Aug. 19. The show will be held in the beautiful Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong beginning at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the Jefferson Township Library.
    Rave On features the music of Buddy Holly, with such memorable hits as That’ll be the Day, Peggy Sue, Not Fade Away, Oh Boy, It’s So Easy, and Rave On along with other classic early rock ‘n roll songs. Join guitarist and lead vocalist Chris Roselle to listen and dance to the music that paved the way for rock ‘n roll influencing the Beatles, Roy Orbison, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and countless other artists. Rave On is living proof that Buddy Holly and the music of early rock ‘n roll is timeless and continues to appeal to people of all ages.     Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. In the event inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road OR to St. Thomas the Apostle R.C.
