Library plans Victorian event

    It's been 200 years since Charlotte Bronte was born, and her novel remains one of the most beloved classics of English Literature. Escape into Jane's world on Saturday, July 30, at a Jefferson Township Library event featuring two screen adaptations of Jane Eyre, lunch, and discussion.
    The schedule is: 11 a.m. — Jane Eyre (1996) starring Charlotte Gainsbourg and William Hurt; 12:45 p.m. — A Victorian-themed lunch (provided by the library); 1:30 p.m. — Jane Eyre (2011) starring Mia Wasikowoska and Michael Fassbender; 3:30 p.m. — Discussion.
