AUGUSTA — The Sussex County Miners defeated the New Jersey Jackals in minor league baseball on Sunday, July 17, by a score of 4-3.
The game was the last of a three-game series played at Skylands Stadium in Augusta. On Friday, the Miners won 5-4, and by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The win certified the Miners' first sweep of the season and extended their winning streak to three games.
In contrast the New Jersey Jackals suffered their fifth straight loss.
