Saturday marked the grand opening of The Curiosity Shoppe located at 28 Main Street in Sussex Borough.
The store’s offerings include antiques, auto memorabilia, and more including jewelry. Sussex Borough Mayor Katherine Little officiated the opening and spent some extra time exploring what the shop has to offer. • The store is owned by Vernon residents Tom and Lynne Beccari.
According to co-owner Lynne Beccari, “We have a love of our planet and enjoy the beauty of nature.” Along those lines, the T-shirts they sell are The Mountain brand that is made with organic dyes.
The store also offers custom jewelry. Some of the pieces are from the American Southwest and are crafted with natural stones. Tom has been in the auto business all his life, so the rear room of the shop has automotive memorabilia with collectable miniature cars. There is also a selection of antiques as well. For additional information visit the store or call 973-219-9345.
