FRANKLIN — The annual Franklin Carnival drew hundreds last weekend during each of the four days of the event. The carnival was scheduled to include two nights of fireworks — on Thursday and Sunday. Held at the Franklin Pond Recreation Area, more than a dozen amusement park and carnival-type rides were available to children and adults. Food trucks were on hand to feed the hungry, along with vendors selling their wares and various community and outreach groups. The rides included a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl and other various children’s rides.
